Help with snail problem

Recently found many small snails in my tank. The shell of the snail is translucent and mainly less than 3mm in size. I have colony of malayan shrimps in the tank. How should i get rid of the snails???

you can try dwarf puffer to clear the snails, but you will have to remove the puffer after that else you may find your shrimps missing..

another method is to put a piece of cucumber (as a bait) overnight then you can harvest the snails the next morning.

Can i use other vegetables other than cucumber? Or are there any snail that can exterminate the smaller pest?

i think snails don't eat snails.
you either use medication or puffers, or sometimes loaches, but this is a bit messy.

What type of loach to use?

You can get the killer snail,anentome helena.Do a search to find out more about it.It will eat the snails you are talking about...and possibly your malayan snails too?

Or you could get a clown loach.That will work as well.
