maybe from Africa?
Anyone knows what these are?
I don't think they are Boraras urolphthalmoides because the lateral band and the patches on the fins are different. Note the tiny pelvic fin? It seems that it is not a deformity and are like this on all the fishes in my hands now. Size is about 5-8mm.
*let's hope the tiny white dot behind the dorsal is not Ich.
Different subject.

maybe from Africa?
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Can't be. These are wild fish collected in malaysia.

interesting, maybe keep them a little longer?

it could well be a juvenile given the large eyes.

Yup, could be juvenile. But doesn't explain the pelvic fins.

was told to me: most likely juvenile of Rasbora einthoveinii or R. cephalotaenia.

Just an update on the same fish. Will need to relabel my pics later.
