What's the difference between T5 and PL?

What are the differences between PL and T5 lights, besides the physical difference?
PL/T5/LED... which is better and will give pearling effect?

think both should give you pearling. it all depends on your other parameters and the wattage of the 2 types whether they are enough on top of the other requirements.

t5 and pl are basically similar except the form factor.
to have pearling, you'll need sufficiently bright lights, co2 as well as sufficient nutrients.
note that not all plants pearl.

actually pearling is not the only factor to decide if your plants are doing well.

although i am not too long into plants, as long as they look healthy and growing new leaves , I think I got it made .
that's my own guideline.
