I realised that most of the fry hatched do have a darker or lighter colours. Those blackish fry won't last long. They will die off the next day. Why issit so?

Some fry relunctant to eat too. How to make them eat?

I noticed that there are fry that are darker too but never bother to track them. You will have this problem if you have hundreds of them at one go.

I'll try to verify your observation the next time.

    Hi Jennifer,

Perhaps you can provide us with details on the genus and species of the fry.

Generally I do not feed all my nothos and non annuals BBS for first 3~4 days as I will always find lots of left over BBS. I feed them with green water. I will usually pour in about 1 tablespoon of green water into the raising tray.

Are you providing Java moss as hiding place? The fry might be too stress up if raised in bare tray.

    I hope this helps.
