but i thought nymphaea zenkeri is actually tiger lotus??? thats what i always come across on websites...
for the record, i got this single plant from Heisenberg for $12 when it was reeeeally tiny... hope it doesn't turn out to be some cheapo plant... nevertheless i will still love it as if my first born... it has been the most rewarding eversince i started this hobby...
i use sera florenette A occasionally... dowan it to grow too big as my tank is pretty small... but still hoping for it to produce some plantlets though...

irn-bru, not that i want to rain during your parade, you've been ripped. that nymphae you have is very common. it is sold at petmart at $2 per pot of several plantlets. this variety seldom develops plantlets from my experience. many of heisenberg's stuff are expensive by the way.
the type in kingpin's and vinz's tank grows plantlets more easily.

actually, i knew it was expensive then but even as a little plantlet it was so red and i thought it would provide good contrast in my tank that i just have to pay for it...
and that was not the last time i was ripped by that crouchy aunty... got tai yang chow from there recently for $12 as well... i never learn do i?
