i recently saw a trio of Aphanius mento (population unknown) for sale at a lfs. thought i'd get some info here on these Aphanius species. observed them being highly aggressive , with the male chasing the female all over the tank while i was at the shop. decided against purchasing them until i know more about these seldom-kept killies.

would appreciate any info about these Eurasian killies (read somewhere that they're found in the areas around and close to the Meditteranean Sea).
