Came across a very old car battery shop today & saw this:

Good enough for a baster? It's made of glass & it's only $2.50.

By the way, there are some spare rubber bulbs for sale too.

Gan, I think the opening is too small. It would be useful for feeding baby brine shrimp to the fish but would be useless for transferring fry or killifish eggs.

Gan, with the exception of what looks like a rubber or plastic take-up tip, the rest looks ok. Affordable too!!

I suppose you can modify the take-up (or whatever you call these things) with a narrower clear acrylic reducer + an air tubing. That would be perfect!

Loh, actually this baster (car’s battery tester) Gan was mentioning is quite big, the size is about 30cm long and the opening is about 4mm, I have one at home and I used it for sucking out water from the Plant’s tray to prevent mosquito breeding. I don’t think so is ideal for fry, it is not too small but too big.
