HELP bloated stomach or some time not really visible. But the jerking downwards motion is so noticeable to prevent from floating. A few of my tetra contacted these symptoms, how and why??

Or is it due to the change of water, which I did hours ago??

What disease is it and how to cure. Will the tetra die. Is it infectious?? Thks.

swim bladder disease or "whirling" disease... suggest you try nitrofuranazole (befuran, or japanese yellow medicine) first.

sometimes after overeating they may do that.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

I think it may be due to the eating of pellet I feed. As they will all dive for the food, thus sucking in a lot of air from the surface. It may be the reason.

then what you can do, if the symptoms fade after a while (after the fish farts..) is to presoak the food before putting it in the tank
