SAEs will eat bba, but you might need to starve them a bit. They easily get distracted by prepared foods. The plants that they have been noticed to eat are needle leaf plants and new moss fronds.

Mark Mendoza, what do you mean by prepared food for SAE? algae flakes?

It's Siamese and not Siamise. As far as I know, it's generally accepted that:
1. As far as algae-eating is concerned, juvenile SAEs are far better than adult ones .
2. Once used to fish food, neither juvenile nor adult SAEs will touch algae, let alone BBA, not unless they are close to starvation.
3. Even when they do eat BBA, SAEs will eat only new growth.
3. Only adult SAEs eat mosses, juvenile ones won't.
2 fishes which are far better at eating BBA are the Cigar Fish and the Killie known as a Florida Flag Fish. I've forgotten the latin names but I'm sure Choy can provide them .

Scienitific name of cigar fish is Anostomus ternetzi.

Do more water change, reduce the light and etc. Or if still don't work, reset the tank.
cheers,
Are you doing CO2? BBA gets to folks when they use CO2 but did not do enough of it. You need to keep it in the 20-30ppm range when the lights are "on" day in day out. Manual removal of the existing adult BBA is necessary. Correction of tank parameters (CO2 and nutrients) is next.

The scientific name for the Florida flag fish is Jordanella floridae .
