    Hi, folks,

    Subzero updated some pictures in the "Interesting Posts" sub-forum. One is one the egg development of the Aphyosemion australe and the other is on the only Killifish native to Singapore. They are worth a look as the pictures are very well-taken.

    eh Kwek Leong, those Aplocheilus panchax that Madan brought over has a yellow/black border trimming at the caudal fin (tail) but those in Subzero's pics are blue. Could it be that Blue panchax have different color morphs as well?

    In my tanks, where I still have about 10 F2 Aplocheilus panchax, some of them are exhibiting a distinctive orange/black banding... kinda odd if you ask me, since these are from the same parents.

    A. panchax do exibit color variation from individual to individual and from location to location. I have seen the blue one, yellow one, orange one and all kind of color shade. We even have fighting strain here in Thailand that is much larger than the natural couterpart, just like in Betta splendens.
