You can try Aphanius sp. These come from fairly brackish conditions. Killifishes from the East African genus Pantanodon are also great for brackish tanks.
I want to add some killifish to my slight brackish water... my LFS <reliable> told me this would be ok. If so, what type are hardy enough for brackish water rg 1.012,
current tank
1 black skirt tetra,
1 white tip shark cat
1 mono
1 spiny eel
1 polypterid "bichir"
1 kribensis
thank you for the help,

They just might let you put 2 neons in a 65 gallon tank!

Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
what kind of brackish setup is that?? Or you are intending to provide your spiny eel and bichir with fresh live fish? Sorry, but I prefer to see your tank as a predator-prey setup. I believe there are some killie species large enough to qualify as predators, but the bichir and eel should easily outgrow and outeat any killie.
With certain exceptions, I find LFSs tend not to be reliable sources of information. This site (it's not just a forum) is, if you tread wisely.
And read the owner's rules before you post further, lest calamity befall your character....

Thanks for the advice. The reason for 1 of each is mainly because I am worrried about breeding, I do not want to have to, and if they had fry, then I would feel obligated to take care of them. I feed my bichir (3" in length) omega red flake, and freeze dried blood worms, as well as the rest of my babies. My eel is only 5" in length and it eats Sinking Carnivore Pellets, by Hikari, It has never touched any other fish.I am fortunate to have a great tank. Please notify me of any further questions or concerns.
