These guys are pretty impressive particularly in shape. I'm assuming they are relatively common in the US? By the way you guys say it they are simply not wanted by many people?
Thanks!

The picture I posted did not show the full potential of this species. Here's a rather nice picture of this species which I found in one of the Japanese killie keeper's website.

Joseph, we're spoilt for choice. Why bring home drabby constanciae when there's flashy magnificus and fulminantis? So yes, nobody wants themOriginally Posted by nonamethefish

BTW, Kwek Leong, you might have missed Jian Yang's post regarding status of juvenile constancie that you collected at last year's FSOMM. I hope yours are spawning as I no longer have them in my tanks.
I'm back & keeping 'em fingers wet,

To those interested in this species, I have found an article on them from the New Zealand Killifish Association:
http://nzka.killi.net/species/sim-con.htmlIm currently updating our site, those pages are very old, Most of those species have died out. However i am the proud owner of a young pair of constansiae.Originally Posted by RonWill

Ronnie, I didn't miss Jianyang's question. It's just that I didn't know how to tell him that the fish are all deadOriginally Posted by RonWill
It's my fault. I make no excuses. But it was very late when I came home that night from Eco-Culture. I was hasty when I transferred the fish into my balcony tank and they died as a result. Sorry.
