It is Erect Moss. Erect Moss can be single strand or branching depending on the growing condition.
There is this extremely beautiful plant/moss ,in a big plant tank at a parkway parade aquarium & pet shop (beside hawker centre which at the centre of the shop.
It looks like moss , it is erected, but is thread by thread. evenly spaceed grown from rock or something.
none of the moss (xmas, erect, java) at clementi 's green aqarium can compare this this thing.
Any experience hobbylist seen/know it ? Please advice .
Thank you.

silvertetra (May I know your name?),
They are erect mosses. They had been in that tank for more than a year. This is the most successful display tank I had ever seen; almost any plants grow well there. This is the tank that inspired me to start a planted tank (after Kwek Leong, my first mentor who I knew through APD, introduced the hobby to me).
If you observed the Ludwigia Brevipes (the reddish stem plants that took 30% of the tank space), they are in their best form. This is the tank where the most beautiful Glossostigma ever lived on (about 4 years back), the leafs are big, thick, dark green and they stick to the gravel, not one leaf's stalk can be seen.
Disclaimer: I am not promoting the shop; it’s prohibited in this forum.
Thanks guys.
So by comparision, my 10 bucks erected moss are it's 'grandchildren' .

Welcome Kok Yong,
to our little abode. It's always nice to be able to relate to a person using their real names.
Are you just starting out in planted tanks? Any inhabitants in your tank yet?

Hi zmzfam,
I use to keep fishes and have potted plants. But now trying to work more on plants.
currently my 2 feet tank have 2 silvertetra (another 2 got suck away into toilet hole when i change water ) , 3 goldtetra , 6 shrimps and a small SAE.
Remaining are plants - Echinodorus tenellus , christmas moss and erected moss on driftwood, 2 nympheae lotus (green and red ) both are like 5 cm diameter with 5-6 leafs, two small floated Phyllanthus fluitans and Hydrocotyle verticillata (3 leaf ).
There are all small/young plants, but i already seeing new leaves opening up.
I just successfuly built DIY CO2 the other day , mixture of sugar, yeast.
Last week , i was using those CO2 tablet, but got irritate by it's residue , you know, those 'white bread' residue.
I used to experience roots rots and thin- long-small leafs. Hope current setting of bright lights, co2 ,soil gravel, liquid fertilisier, ph tester,co2 tester , and the rest of stuffs gives me good result.
regards,
Kok Yong
