    Wright, this is a new thread in reference to your request on Ron's Walstad Echi-tank thread in the Planted Tanks subforum. Thought I'd start a new one so you can take a look at what's supposedly in our tapwater here in Singapore. :wink:

    Great Jianyang,

    I responded to Budak's posting already, so maybe you will want to move my response here?

    One more comment. Your iron is possibly low, for plant water. Only a trace is really needed, but I am more comfortable with my 0.31 ppm here than I would be with yours (<0.04). Of course mine stains laundry and makes any taste and odor problem way worse, but the plants do really well, so far. :wink:

    Mine is slightly above the WHO guideline, The plants are not complaining.

    Wright, thanks for the tip. That might explain why some of my plants are forming curled leaves, even for new budding leaves. I have always wondered what was causing this effect. My fish aren't complaining though.
