Freddy, that article was highlighted in the APD more than a year ago.

    Where have you been?

Anyone has experience with this plant? Has a bit of it on a driftwood in my tank but don't seem to be doing very well.

Coolish temperatures are vital (<28C). Other than that, it's undemanding.

It will grow very fast once it anchored itself to a base.

I do not have experience in this plant, I was told it is very prone to hair algae and whitish bacteria.

I had trouble at first growing it -- but I had an ugly plastic, spikey kind of plant that was stuck to a rock cave decoration I have; well, I stuck the 'pelia' into that plastic plant, and that held it in place -- it has since been growing like 'crazy'! I did the same to another piece of ugly plastic plant.

I bought some of it tied to a small driftwood from a LFS and upon introduction into my tank, which temperatures never goes higher than 27 degree celcius, saw 6 yamatos attacking it with a vengence leaving only 2/3 of the plant left. Now they leave it alone but I still don't see it growing at all

How close is it to the light? You may want to have it such that it is close to your light source -- I find that it really appreciates high light.

Here is my Pelia on the rock

What is everyone's experience with Monoselenium tenerum and SAEs? I am hoping they are not a quick lunch for these fish- or nibble on the new growth.
