Many of these items have RRP (recommended retail price) set by the importers/distributors. While it's an open secret that most LFS sell below RRP, revealing the prices explicitly in "black & white" can get the LFS in trouble with the distributors. In some cases, the distributors may suspend supply to the LFS.
This is one reason why some shops (all kinds, not just LFS), when they give you special discounts, ask that you do not openly disclose the prices to anyone.
Some LFS go to the extend of reporting other LFS to the distributors to damage their business.
As a policy, AQ strongly discourages the explicit listing of LFS prices for RRP items in the forums. Unless, of course, it is the actual RRP.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Vinz's points on the elasticity of prices aside, I can still understand it if a new hobbyists wants to get an idea of what's available in the market... but I can't comprehend why avowed commercial vendor should trouble others for a market survey......
Understand Vinz intentions.. Just like to know everything only. Thanks!
