I've been shipping out P. gertrudae eggs as experiments but due to their short incubation times, it isn't viable using regular airmail. Express services should work better as I received very healthy P. signifer eggs through Global Priority.

Before I drift off topic, what is the wetting proceedure for Leptolebias? Do I use cold water to trigger hatching and use oxygen tablets, similar to Simpsonichthys species? Looking forward to my 1st wetting tomorrow.

I use i/2 tablet of oxygen tablets to hatch them in a small tray 15 X 15 X 4 cm. Let the newly hatched fry stay in the hatching tray till free swimming. I usually transfer them to a raising tray 20 X 20 X 5cm (Max 30fry each tray with Java moss).

Just an update, I was hatching my first litter from my own spawn yesterday. They were coillected 23.9.04 so it took nearly 8 weeks. The temerature in the room have been 24 degrees.
I got about 20 fry.
