I was pleasantly surprised to see a few pots of bacopa caroliana(I think) on display at a nursery at Hougang.
And so, without hesitation, grabbed I back-(only about S$12/pot)
Started pulling out the stalks and tranferring them to my planted
tank. Let's see how it goes semi-submerged.
here's the pot-top and side view

and here's some that has been transferred.

Also, here's a picture I'd like to share, another part of the same tank looking from top.

Don't they look great from above!
Sigh...Would'nt it be nice if some plants look like that viewed from
    the side?
Well, we'll soon see how aquascaping trends go after next year's (long way to go) Aquarama, with garden display and a planted tank competition incorporated.

    Cheers!

    Nelson,

Actually, at $12 a pot, wouldn't it be cheaper to buy the submersed form from the fish shops

I think the plant looks much more beautiful in emersed form though. They even produce flowers. In submersed form, the Bacopa grows too quickly and it can be tiresome pruning them.

haha..,(or hehe).. sometimes we just fell prey to "buying on impulse".
Anyway, I just hope the plant continues its bloom- a few still popped out under bright indirect daylight, although much less than the original pot. I've also yet to sustain a proper planted tank of submerged plants, the bacopas (submerged) that I had has'nt been growing fast as should be the case. Probably due to ROBBERY of light from those tall vallisnerias.

    Cheers,
