Mosses I read about it, Seen it but where and how to get it?

Thanks for the addresses for the LFS shops in S'pore. I was told that I needed a special permit to bring in plants into M'sia, is this true? Therefore restricted my friend from bringing in from SQ.

I have a few mosses that I wish to collect and I hope the fellow forumers could help.

1. Willow Moss
2. Stringy Moss
3. Erect Moss.

Reason that I'm looking for these mosses is that I'm in the middle of setting up some new moss tanks.

Hi Jerry (Is that your name?),

I do not know if a special permit is needed or not, buit tourists into Malaysia are required to declare any type on plants they are carrying - as stated in the immigration card. I think sometimes people forgot about the declaration section.

I'm sure mosses will be fine as they do not require any kind of soil.

Which part of Malaysia do you live ? I am going to PJ/KL next week and may be able bring some for you if you live around there.

BTW, Willow moss will only grow well at 26C and below

I do have a chilled tank at 25C... That should be fine for the Willows.
