    Hi erirku (what's your name?),

I did a search on Azoo's site and here's the names of their two agents in the US. Would be better for you to contact them.

    Aquatic Eco-Systems, Inc.

    Tel : 1-407-886-3939
    Fax : 1-407-886-6787
    email : [email protected]
    URL : http://www.aquaticeco.com

    AZOO Palm Aquarium Distributor:

    Water World City Group Corp.

    Tel : ( 732 ) 248 -9958
    Fax: ( 732 ) 248 -7978
    E-mail : [email protected]
    Add : 140 Ethel Rd, Unit I Piscataway, NJ 08854 U.S.A.

Depending on the type of diffuser you are using - there's two types (150 and 300) - there's two sets of replacement ceramic pad (the white disks you mentioned) with a rubber washer I think.

Diffuser 150L uses Spray & Rubber Pad AZ99030(S).
Diffuser 300L uses Spray & Rubber Pad AZ99029(L).

That said, I've not seen both replacement sets locally. Here's a picture taken from their website:

Thank you very much Jianyang . Very informative. But I couldn't see what the part was under in the Aquatic eco-system, since they don't have a CO2 or plant section. Thanks Eric.

Hi there, I suppose you could email and enquire regarding the part. Send the image as well. Better still, email and ask for any distributors or shops selling AZOO items in Hawaii, or much closer to you are - Oahu.

    Eric,

May I know why you need a replacement? Assume the white ceramic part is clogged, you can use bleach to break up those dirt. Tried once & is useable again. Of course you need to wash it thoroughly after bleaching.

Its just covered with green spot algae on the white disk. How should I approach the bleaching method? Will peroxide do? Thanks

    erirku,

What I did was to take a tau huay tub, fill it up with tap water, added about 1ml of bleach ( I estimated. All that is needed is a dilute solution of bleach. ) and placed my diffusor in it. After a few days, the algae was gone.

I kind of suspect Eric probably won't know what's a tau huay tub, considering that he lives in Hawaii.

Use any container, add some bleach and leave the diffusor to soak for a few hours. It should become clean as a whistle but it shouldn't take days.

I would prefer to use hydrogen peroxide as it is much safer. You don't even need ot rinse the disc.

To prevent any algae growth on the disk, sprinkle some fine gravel over it to shade it from light completely.

Ha ha ha ha!!! Why didn't I think of that? . STUPID ME. That is so smart, what plant school did you graduate from? . Thats what I'll do next.
Also, is that a pic of your downoi? How do you get it so lush green? Mines are a light green and not that fluffy looking. Does it need soft water? Thanks Eric.

That Avarta pic is from Kwek Leong (Timebomb). He grows it quite successfully. I do not have Downoi. However, I guess it likes low KH and cool water, part of the tank parameters that Kwek Leong is having.
