    Hello all

Now is your chance to aid the scientific investigation into the mechanisms that regulate aging!

Please go to http://notholab.sdf-eu.org/notholives.htm and fill in the form. We are not looking for very detailed data, we just need to get a rough idea as to how long the various different African annual killifish species live.

This is an example of some excellent data sent in by Dave Wood:
    N. sp kilombero. <30 fish. Most died between 15-18 months. one male survivor died at 27 months. Temp min 72F. Max (summer) approx 80F.

Shortest lived nothos I have kept were black rachovi which all died by 11 months old. Most others guentheri, palmqvisti, korthausae averaged around 12 to 15 months. Sorry not to be more detailed.
You can also visit our egg list and help support our fund raising for the next collection trip!

If you know someone with loads of Notho experiance who you think can help please forward the post on to him or her!

    Thanks
