Pmed this question to Ron, and was asked to post it here:

I ordered a pair of Ruth Warner's SPL Tiko Greens. On these forums and on Ruth's site these fish are named A. splendopluere tiko, but on Alf and Anita's gallery page they are classified as Chromaphyosemion. Searching for "Chrom. splendopleure" turns up many more results than "A. splendopleure." The AKA website has a fish called A.(Ch.)splendopleure . Are the genus names interchangeable? There seems to be many examples of them used interchangably with one another. So confused....

I understand that Chromaphyosemion is generally accepted as a valid genus if one follows Sonnenberg's thesis faithfully.

Other than that most people still refer to these fish as Aphyosemion. I would prefer to use Chromaphyosemion since they are distinctly different from the "regular" Aphyosemion.

As would the use of Kathethys to describe the elberti-exiguum-kekemense-dargei subgroup.

So you're quite safe if you intend to use Chromaphyosemion instead.

YAY! My SPL Tikos got delivered today and are both in fine health as far as I can tell. I was so worried when the water temp finally equalized and I put them in my tank, because they are so much smaller than my tetras. The tiny female (1/3 the size of the tetras) got chased around a bit, but now seems to be in charge of the whole tank . The male is taking turns hiding and swimming the perimeter of the tank, but looks well enough. My flame gourami has become fast friends with the female, hovering next to her whenever she was getting buzzed right after being put in. All in all, it looks like things might be OK for a little while. [-o<
Ill try to post some pics and keep updating.
I'm so excited! Probably should have been doing homework.... but you know..

Since this still fits under my original thread title, I didn't start a new one.

    Hi again,
It still a little tense in my tank during feeding time, but everyone in there seems to get along to some degree. The only problem I am noticing is that the male is chasing the female into the plants whenever he sees her. He is really ripping into her too, so she is hiding under plants most of the time. The only thing I could think of is that the female is not fully sexed out yet and I accidentally received 2 males. Though, from the little I know of fry, she(or he) is (I think) at least 2 weeks old, and should at least have semi-male looking finnage by now. I am probably missing something that is very obvious, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for putting up with and answering all of my questions.

P.S. Ronnie, my male doesn't look nearly as orange as yours, he looks more like the non "orange" Tiko Greens on the AKA's gallery.
