Okay so the final order is as follows:

    KL (timebomb):

    Simp. marginatus x 1 bag = Euro 15

    Jianyang (stormhawk):

    Simp. marginatus x 1 bag = Euro 15

    Kho (shortman):

    Notho. eggersi "Rufiji River" TAN 95/7 x 2 bags = Euro 30

    Choy (hwchoy):

Simp. auratus "Lagoa Grande" x 1 bag = Euro 15
Simp. adornatus "Sitio do Mato" x 1 bag = Euro 20
Rachovia pyropunctata "Bachaquero" BBL 01/02 = Euro 15
    Total = Euro 50

    Kennedy (kennedy_ng):

Simp. auratus "Lagoa Grande" x 1 bag = Euro 15

Total Order Cost = Euro 125

Going by what was mentioned by the breeder in his last email that should be USD 125 instead.

I'll contact the breeder for availability of the above-mentioned eggs packs. Once the order is fully confirmed I will contact each one of you via PM for payment purposes. Thanks.

Thank you to all who have participated in this order. While the response was not as good as I had originally envisioned, it is a good start. Rest assured there'll be more such orders coming up and hopefully more budding enthusiasts will take part in these orders.

I have already sent payment to the breeder via registered mail. A hiccup however may delay the arrival of the eggs. The breeder tells me that he has had very bad weather. Since it is rather cold this point of year where he lives, the eggs may be shipped a little later, probably next week if the weather looks good.

I hope you guys understand because a sudden chill can cause the developing eggs to die during shipping. He does not wish to take such a risk and therefore hopes that we understand the current situation.

As always, I will contact everyone via PM to notify them of collection details. Look out into this thread for updates should I receive the package earlier than usual.

Another update. The eggs were shipped on the 11th of March 05. That was 6 days ago. The package should be arriving early next week if all goes well.

Hmm.. the eggs haven't arrived yet but I will post up the collection details when they do arrive. Hopefully somewhere next week. The previous orders with this breeder took up to 14 days maximum to arrive. Usually packages arrive much earlier than expected. Who knows, probably tomorrow evening the pack will be in the mail.

    The Eggs Have Landed

Latest upate, the eggs have arrived in my mailbox last evening while I was away. For those who have ordered the collection will be tonight at Ronnie's place. Kennedy, I'll probably pass the eggs to KL so you can collect it from him on another day over at his place.

Choy, your share of the order will be split between myself and Gan for foster care. If nothing goes wrong you should be seeing some pairs appear for your photoshoot.

    Gan, I'll second that.

Choy, just to remind you again, casualties do happen but hopefully all goes well with the eggs.

Probably so but you have nifty hands with a camera.

Anyway, false alarm. My mum got me all excited. Told me a package arrived. She didn't read the label properly so what arrived was a package from the US containing a book sent by a friend. I only found out the mixup when I reached home earlier this evening.

Sorry guys. Got all excited myself.

No problem Jian Yang, we can easily arrange for a 'blanket party' just to whack the living daylights out of you. Maybe next time, you're not so excitable.

Sorry fellas there has been a hiccup.

The email that mentioned the order going out on the 11th of March was meant for a Taiwanese fella who had the same surname as myself. He had sent the email wrongly to me. The order that went out on the 11th of March was headed for Taiwan, not Singapore.

As it is the order leaves today 29th of March. It should arrive latest by 18th of April. My apologies for the mixup on his part.

Hello all, sorry for the long delay.

The eggs have FINALLY arrived last evening, 4th of March 2005.

I will be contacting everyone via SMS for collection details.

The eggs are in good shape. I did a quick check and found some nice and round fertile eggs. With luck and some time, they should be ready for wetting by May.

    On a sidenote:

Choy, I'll be fostering your adornatus eggs and Gan will foster the other two species.

Good news, the adornatus eggs are fully eyed up and I will be wetting them shortly. Hopefully in the morning I'll be looking at little baby adornatus in the hatching tray. The marginatus eggs that I ordered are starting to show signs of development.

For the others who joined up the order, please do update on the status of your eggs here. It would be very useful as information for both the breeder and also for the group.
