What hornwort usually needs is aged water. If you put them in fresh water, they rot off very quickly.
Set up one tank with some aged water, dose it with some nutrients, and leave it in a spot that gets some shaded sunlight. If the weather gets too warm, they will also rot off and die.
Given aged water that's pretty cool in temperature, they grow like weeds. All they need is a booster of nutrients and some form of sunlight.![]()
