Hello Everyone,
I am long due for a post. Classes have kept me busy so I have not been able to take care or post pictures of my plants. I actually lost a few species because of my neglect, including a few C. affinis.
I recently received some Aponogeton robinsonii from Arthit (he is now my hero, hehe). I was very excited to get this species as it has been on my "most wanted" list ever since I saw in pictured in Kasselmann's Aquarium Plants. It has been quite a long wait for it, but it was well worth it to get my hands on this species.
My website is down and I am in search of another freehost, so I will be borrowing your Gallery for awhile.
I received quite few baby tubers, each barely 1/4 of a centimeter large. Even though with the small tubers, their leaves are larger than what I expected (some roughly 1" to 2"). Currently they are in my nano tank since it has the least amount of algae- I just got to do battle with Chladophora. No water flow in the nano, the substrate is pure flourite and the water is 50/50 tap and R/O.
Eventually I will transfer it to my 65g but I think I will wait a few months until the tubers are stronger and larger.
