Jeff, I don't understand your question.

Are you asking whether there are Killifish eggs for sale in Japanese fish shops? If that's what you want to know, the answer is probably no. Like all other countries, Killifish, let alone Killifish eggs are rarely found in fish shops. I'm very sure though there must be quite a few Killifish hobbyists in Japan. Like us, they're probably hobbyists who keep and breed the fish at their own homes.

If you google around, I'm quite sure you will find a couple of Killifish websites setup and maintained by Killifish hobbyists living in Japan. I do recall having seen a website maintained by a Japanese called "BlackJack" or something.

Thanks.May be going japan so was thinking if there is a LFS selling killies egg, i may be getting some back.Are there any countries whereby killies eggs are sold in the LFS?...This is because my brother travel very often to various countries so if there is and he happen to be there, i can get him to buy back for us...

Hi Jeff,

You won't find any shops that have a constant supply of killifish nor eggs. If you're lucky, you may find some fishes the most.

Killifish is not commercially breed in most of the countries by the farms except France and very little from Malaysia.

If you're keen, you'll have to fall back on the hobbyists to obtain eggs or from Killifish Associations and Clubs.

In Japan there are some shops that do deal in killifish. Eggs however are another matter. The range of live pairs and species available depends very much on supply by hobbyists who breed them in excess. Prices however can be astronomical if you convert the Yen to the SGD. Just a little notice.
