    Last year, I got 11 pcs of Blue P. killies from Ronnie; they are still healthy and kicking.

    They are not particularly colourful nor striking. However, they are, just like any killies unique strong point, dramatic in look and behaviour. The mouth seems to be smiling all the time. But at times, it seems like expressing mischief.

    I had been feeding them either frozen worms or dry pallets. However, at times when squeeze fertiliser with stringe, they rush in and munching away there. They thought that I was trying to feed brine shrimp (that's how Ronnie raised them).

    They are very mischief and has no fear. When I rinse my measuring cup (very small 30ml cup) in the tank, they would try to jump into it. Or when my hand dip into the tank, they would swim towards my fingers. They are very tough and undemanding, one of the best fish for planted tank.

    Freddy,
    I think the 'Blue P. killies' you're referring to should be Aplochelius panchax and I'm impressed that they're still alive... not bad for a aqua-gardener!

    Those who don't have an idea what the killie look like, can refer to past threads at;
    Wild Aplochelius [Oct 20th 2003]
    Wild Aplochelius Panchax has spawned !!! [Nov 09th 2003]

    I've a small group of Epiplatys togolensis looking for good homes and they have your name written all over it. Interested?
    I'm back & keeping 'em fingers wet,
    Ronnie Lee

    Of course, it's Aplochelius panchax . They surely miss the brine shrimps and tubifex live foods :P .

    Epiplatys togolensis? I can hear them calling me... eh but the Blue panchax is very fierce. They would be chewed up... or not?
