*wince* the prices are real high.
Anyone keen to get a strand of that moss for ID-ing? :P
Frankly I'd rather go for Christmas Moss if I want that triangular shape.

Terence

This is probably just singapore moss, like Mr. Loh showed that these fronds can grow very long.

Hi,
I've seen farms selling mosses that are over a feet long for each frond.
Cheers

Let me share a round pricing for 1 strand of the moss.
It's $45-$55 for just 1 strand.

How true, how true.
Guess what I also just found out? C.bullosa costs $100 per stalk![]()
hi guys, just for information, the moss sp is collected from brazil, and the frond in the picture shows a yet to mature one. A fully grown frond is a beautiful big triangular one, with its height at least a good 30 cm. So, it is not just the length. It could very well be another similar species compared to a Singapore moss.
As for high prices, a bullosa cost more then 150 usd where you can most likely find it for sale.

It is hard to imagine a moss with 1 foot long triangular fronds in a stream. I would expect such a big fronds to clump together unless it is growing in still water ?
Anyone intending to grow this moss will need to dedicate a whole 4 or 6 ft tank to it. Can you imagine having 20 one foot long (6" wide ?) fronds in the tank
Roland,
Do you know if anyone has a photo of this moss with its one foot long triangular fronds ?
The big triangular frond was attained much longer ago. Moss was actually in Singapore for a number of years, but only in private tank.
I do not have a mature piece now. But anyway, I am growing it in my high maintenance tank, and hopefully, i can achieve it, very soon.
This moss, from experience, do not achieve the good size if placed in a low light, low fert, low co2 tank. Same for all other moss, very good care will give it the best shape.
