I remember seeing this abbreviation on the SAKS (South African Killifish Society) website.

Where is it now? I believe it was formed as a Southern Hemisphere Killifish Collective group between the SAKS, the NAKA (National Australian Killifish Association) and the NZKA (New Zealand Killifish Association).

The SAKS website was last updated on 1st of July 2004, the NAKA website on the 5th of June 2002 and the NZKA website does not state its last updated date.

The AUNZZA mailing list has the last posting in February 1997.

Can someone provide some info? Tyrone perhaps?

AUNZZA had its last post somewhere in 2002 and then died a natural death of email silence. The AU killi community had come apart at the seems due to some unexpected deaths and obligations that left the central core membership unable to keep it afloat. It is slowly being ressurected in part by Bill Phillips and Keith Hand.

NZ is waking up again too...

There updates to SAKS up until late last year when things got a bit hairy... I have not had the chance to update the update date...

In some respect AUNZZA has been reborn as the SAKS email list on google but it isn't very active right now.

    Regards

At least its still alive in one way, though not as active. Are the NAKA and NZKA people still on the SAKS email list on Google?

No, only a handful of people have hopped on board thanks to Keith Hand.

The Australians have a forum at: http://p066.ezboard.com/bozkillifish. Don't know how active it is.

The ezboard link is dead. Redirected me to a page stating it is no longer available. Probably no-one maintained it so it died a natural death like you earlier mentioned.

hmmm... No. It does still exist. The last post was today. Try this instead: http://forumfind.com/?q=killifish&x=110&y=13 and see if that helps some.

I don't know if this means anything but the BKA Richard Cox is going to visit Australia. Odds are he is going via Singapore...

Tyrone, thanks for the link. In your earlier post the html code included the dot at the end of the bozkillifish word. Thats why I had an error message when I tried to view the page. It seems pretty active.

Last post was 30th of March this year. Small in numbers but still very active.
