Last weekend the first Norwegian meeting in Norway took place.

We was totally 27 person from Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

I have to say it was great sucsess with a lot of social factor
At the auction it eas 49 species/locations, and mr. Alf Person was the auctioneer, clever as always.
mr. Mogens Juhl from Denmark held a briliant lecture from his travel in Africa. Mogens is synonymous with Aphhyosemion joergenscheeli here in Scandinavia. he has a great sucsess breeding this difficult species.
i was lucky getting one pair from him, so no......
I put a link which show some pictures and we are already planning a new meeting next year, so perhaps i you in Norway.
By the way, here is the species I got:
Aphyosemion joergenscheeli GJS oo/15 20 km west Mbigou"
    Fp. arnoldi "Ughelli TR 01"
    Rivulus rubripunctatus (already 25 eggs)
Nothobranchius ugandensis "Butisba 3 km N UGJ 93/13"
    Pter. longipinnis

Svein, that must have been a very enjoyable event. We're looking forward to our planned gathering in May.

Let us know if there's a future plan for another meeting next year in Norway. Who knows, maybe someone here may go over and visit Norway.

Aphyosemion joergenscheeli is indeed a difficult species and Mogens must be one expert breeder, and collector.

It is a nice fish but well worth the trouble to raise.

I think I may have seen his article on this species on Jesper Thorup's website.
    Fish.. Simply Irresistable

    Svein,

I like the way you all hold gatherings. It's more cosy to hold it in someone's house than a fish shop. I can tell from the pictures you all had a lot of fun. And the spread of pastries on the table look terribly delicious too Should I ever visit Norway, I'll look for the cute wooden house with the mountain in the background

    Wow Svein,

Nice pictures and nicer food ... yummmm, I agree with Mr Loh on this one. The Vancouver Aquarium Hobbyist Club here sometimes hold meetings at the member's home but not with so much goodies on the table though.
