Seeing how its been months since the food order I would like to hear comments from those of you that bought it.
I recently ordered some and noticed a slight price increase......either the almighty dollar has slipped or the pound sterling has risen.

I did not order thru Singapore of course. But I tested the stuff.
Most of my fish would eat it - beside N. orthonotus
Poor egg production among my annuals when they were feeding mainly on this stuff.
However, my Fp nigerianus "Makurdi" loved it (crawled over Ceratopteris to get it...) and layed quite a few eggs when eating mainly this stuff. So I guess it works with West African species at least and what is Tim's main interest?![]()

Al, nice to have you back.Originally Posted by Al Baldwin

Acceptance level of killies in my tanks (YMMV).
Those that will or can be trained to accept the food.
All Fundulopanchax, australe, bitaeniatum, bivittatum, Chrom. splendopleure, Chrom. loennbergii, Paludopanchax filamentosus, Plataplochilus, Procatopus and Pseudepiplatys annulatus (Fine Grade only).
Bench-sitters include celiae celiae, Gularopanchax fallax and my ex-elberti (but trying to train my ELB 'Makenene' fry).
The no-takers include Fundulosoma thierryi, Nothobranchius, Simpsonichthys, Aphyolebias peruensis, Austrolebias, Rivulus and Renova oscari.
Your turn, Al.
Side Note:
According to this online currency converter;
1 US Dollar = 1.65240 Singapore Dollar
1 British Pound = 2.99845 Singapore Dollar
1 Euro = 2.05559 Singapore Dollar
... so yup, the greenback is down a few notch against European currencies.

For those who ordered the Red Granular Crumb (0.2~0.3mm size), otherwise known as 'Fine Grade' and have a problem feeding/handling the powder, I made a little gizmo that might make your life easier.
Simple and quick DIY job using a short piece of air-line tubing and a acrylic rod or other tubular objects that can snugly fit the inner diameter of the air tubing.
Cut the 'feeding end' of the tubing at a slant and round off the 'lip' as per images below.

I used a scrap piece of ribbed air-tubing but the regular ones should function the same.
Works like a charm, not just for Tim's stuff but other fine-particled food, and able to pick up small amounts for the fry tanks. Of course one is free to experiment with other easily available things, eg. 7-Eleven's 'slurpie straw', a cut off body from a ball-point pen, flat end of an ice-cream stick or whatever you can cut/modify with simple household tools.
If you rigged up something that meet your particular needs, why not share with us?

Hi all,
From my order of 900gm, I'm down to 3 film canisters of each size. If anyone has excess, I will either buy or trade with killies (see trading post).
But if others want to initiate another group order, please include me. I'll be good for another 900gm of Red Granular Crumb, 0.8~1.2mm.
This time, ship via Surface or Non-priority, costs were kinda high coming in by Air. Thanks.

Ronnie,
I have left a few bags which I keeps in the fridge since I received them. Can't remember of the pellet size and amount. Will update you when I am back next week.
