Does anyone have a picture of a female Nothobranchius Brieni to show me? Thanks a lot.

We don't even have a picture of a male brieni... There fish was never collected alive, and colour pictures drawn. There was a picture of an alledged brieni on a stamp but this has been shown to be a kafuensis instead.

Sorry I can't contribute something positive.

    bye

The collections were sent back to Belgium (or Holland or Germany) as preserved fish in formalin. Formalin is unconducent to living.

The Shaba province of the DRC is still a nasty place I so I doubt we will be seeing this fish in living colour for long-time. Of course, miracles do happen and the place is littered with missionaries.

    regards
