This 'Palm Moss' sure looks like a Christmas tree and did you plant it in the substrate? Can't wait for the update with pics of mature specimen.

I don't think it's a moss too as the picture shows it has a hard stem which can be shuffed into the substrate. I'm no bryologist but so far, we have not encounter a moss with such stems.

Okay, guys, it's confirmed. The so-called Palm Moss isn't a moss.
I sent the picture to the professor and he said mosses don't have hard stems.

sorry yes i meant hong kong. btw its not my pic - i took it from another web site. ive asked a friend in singapore and he told me he had only a small piece and it called Greyish fern moss
