There is a plant in this thread from another forum -- it mentions a 'red moss' and has pictures. Does it look to be a moss to you guys? If so, seems like a very nice moss, indeed. Actually, even if it isn't a moss, seems like a neat plant.![]()

My guess is probably semi-aquatic but since nobody knows the identity of that liverwort, its hard to say. It might or might not adapt to a fully submersed environment.
