That scarletti ID is pretty close enough. I think Choy can tell you more on whether its that species or not.
This shrimp is a plant destroyer or so the current talk goes. If you find potholes on the leaves then you know who to blame.![]()

From what I understand, these Mosquito Shrimps are classified as Palaemon scarletti but I'm known to be wrong![]()
Anyone care to confirm the info?

I heard that these are more difficult to breed then the Cherry or Bumblebees we are used to keeping.
They sure are interesting little things-here they are usually referred to as Rudolph Red nose shrimp(whoever coined this one must have had sales in mind).
