    Hi folks,
Look what I just added into my shrimp tank and they look so bl**dy cute!*

From what I understand, these Mosquito Shrimps are classified as Palaemon scarletti but I'm known to be wrong

Anyone care to confirm the info?

*... and I'm looking at baby mozie shrimplets too! [man... they're super tiny buggers!!]
I'm back & keeping 'em fingers wet,
    Ronnie Lee

That scarletti ID is pretty close enough. I think Choy can tell you more on whether its that species or not.

This shrimp is a plant destroyer or so the current talk goes. If you find potholes on the leaves then you know who to blame.
    Fish.. Simply Irresistable

I heard that these are more difficult to breed then the Cherry or Bumblebees we are used to keeping.

They sure are interesting little things-here they are usually referred to as Rudolph Red nose shrimp(whoever coined this one must have had sales in mind).
