The temperatures you gave were in Fahrenheit so I suppose you don't live in Singapore or around these parts. Anyway, for the benefit of those who aren't familiar with Fahrenheit, 86.5 F is about equal to 30 C.
At 30 degrees Centigrade, mosses won't do well. I don't know of any moss that can survive at that temperature. If you can lower the temperature by 2 degrees C or so, your moss wall should do just fine. A small cooling fan, switched on 24 hours a day and blowing directly downwards into the tank will lower the temperature by that margin.
