They're a schooling species from Myanmar. Not too shy in my opinion but yes they need to be lured out during feeding.
Apart from that bit, a friend of mine mentioned that they're fin nippers. I'm not sure if they'll be fine with Boraras but I don't see a problem since both are pretty small fish to begin with.





 
			 
					
					

 . I have them in a heavily planted tank but wanted to know if they always remain shy or if people have had good luck in drawing them out. I have 15 that seem real happy with my R. maculata. Thanks for the advice,

 ? That's not good. It's good the maculatas don't have lots of fin to nip in the first place but I'd hate to know what they go after when there's no more fins to nip.... Oh well, just requires more feeding to ensure they are full.
