Hello Calvin, you must have been that guy who was there with Zhou Hang on the day of the gathering. Nice meeting you as well. I wish you well with your eggs and good luck with the fish.
Note however the fulminantis fry are quite small at birth.![]()
Hello everybody, I`m Calvin from China. Came to SG at May and met my friend KwekLeong there. we talked for a whole night and learned a lot about Killies from him as well. Miss you, man.
Now I`m just hatching the species Fulminnantis. Praying for the baby.
Love Killies very much.

Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
Calvin, welcome to the forum. Thought you might like to know that there's an error in the name. It's supposed to be fulminantis (and in italics)Originally Posted by Calvin
If in doubt, do check with our Killifish Census. Good luck wetting and have fun.
I'm back & keeping 'em fingers wet,

Hi, Calvin,
Welcome to the forum. Hope all is well with you and ZhouHang in China.
I'm glad you managed to hatch the Simp. fulminantis eggs from Selena.
I read in the papers that there's a heatwave in China. Please take note that the fish don't take well to high temperatures. I lost many Simpsonichythys when the tanks became too warm.

Thank you guys.
Yes, I have gone to SG with Zhou Hang and met you. I enjoyed the days in SG very much.
Now the weather in Guangzhou is terrible. temperature yesterday was up to 39C. We even couldn`t breathe under the sun shine at noon time. But so far, the killies frys are oK. Thank you for your regards. But some of other fish became bad condition.
Anyway, Who has good or new kinds of killies pls introduce to me without any hesitate. hah hah....
Calvin,
If it's that hot in GuangZhou, I would suggest you stick to the Nothobranchius genus of Killifish. Nothos come from Africa where in the hot months, the temperatures are probably just as high as those in China now.
Notho eggs also have a higher chance of survival when sent through the mail. Their incubation periods are around 2 months. I would send some to you but all I have is a bag of Notho rachovii eggs, my only one.
