Today just bought 1 male and 6 female killes, after 6 hours into the planted tank, the male jump out and drop on the floor.

It still alive after so long without water.

wanted to ask ? did I need to cover the tank? the water level very near to the tank (only left 1cm from the top)

    Ng,
You did not specify which killie but it doesn't matter... most will jump and some can clear 7inches, nevermind that 1cm!

If you want to start a crispie collection, let things be. If not, best have it covered.
I'm back & keeping 'em fingers wet,

Ng(kindly update your signature, if not for Ron addressing you, I'll call you "Today", which sounds funny),

Just being vey curious, What killies have you bought? Why 6 females to a male? Females normally are the dull looking ones(Human is the other way round ). People tend to go for the colourful fish right?
