    this stuff never gets much taller than this, i have no idea what it is. it's native to the rockies but only in the summer months in smaller pools in the shade where the water stays about 74 to 76.

    Look like the emersed moss to me. I have a piece also. It can't grow submersed. Turning brown and die off after weeks.
