    Jianyang,

Thank you for taking time and effort organising the mass order.

May i know who is the seller? Looking at the species collection, most likely i will pass this round.
European breeder? Looking at the species, I (too)could guess who the supplier is.

I guess I am too incompetent to handle eggs coming from such long distance. This round please leave me out.

    Thanks Jianyang

Nobody is too incompetent or competent to handle eggs that come from other countries. It is almost always a matter of luck. I have failed many times and sometimes the number of failures almost always beats the number of successes. However, that only means I should try again.

JianYang, I guess what Selena meant is the egg behave erratically after a long journey. It is hard for for newbie like myself to handle them correctly.

Time is the most important resource that i need to study and take good care of the egg. Thats is what i don't have as i could be receiving these 16 species anytime from now till next year.

Unless there are new species that drive me out of control again....

    Jianyang,

Is the Simpsonichthys reticulatus already well-established in Singapore? If not, please put my name down for a bag of eggs. Thank you.

Its currently not yet established. I know of only one person who has raised them to adults and they are already gone I think. I have eggs with me that are beginning to eye up. Note however that the fry are just as small as Simp. costai fry. Sex ratio for this species tends to be male-heavy.

I'm in the US, but I've ordered from this guy and I can vouch for his S. constanciae BSJs. They ship fairly well. I have a dozen growing out and a bunch of eggs waiting for the second wetting.

JianYang, please help me check the price of Boitonei and estimated egg count. Would like to order this if no one else ordering and it is not too expensive. Thanks.

Looks like the same group of people spending money while a larger group sits on the fence, waiting for handouts. I've seen better response for egg orders conducted privately and what I see here is, for lack of a better word, pathetic.

    Is there no one else?

    Latest update:

Very sorry guys for the late update. Ron has yet to send payment on everyone's behalf (if I'm not wrong) and part of the order list has changed due to some circumstances beyond my personal control. Eggs ordered previously by everyone are guaranteed for as long as payment is received soon. I have sent Ron a final reminder via email regarding this issue and it is up to him to remember to send the payment soon.

Winter is heading in soon for Europe and I fear for the safety of the eggs that you fellas have ordered if this issue drags on any longer.

To add to Ron's earlier lament:

    Is There No One Else?

Indeed there has been regrettably zero involvement from the newbies as far as orders are concerned. With the exception of some individuals who have been doing their own orders on a personal basis, we have the usual folks who are plonking their money down.

There have been several mass orders held over the forum over the past two years and still very little response from the newbies. Since the orders are shrinking, I will not organise any further mass orders via the forum unless the situation gets better. Others can feel free to do so. Nobody's gonna stop you. Its about time someone else took over.

    To all concerned,

The order from France arrived yesterday. I'll be bringing the eggs down to Eco Culture tomorrow evening and those who wish to collect there can do so, unless otherwise arranged.

Those picking up from my place on Saturday, SMS me.

    Good luck and bountiful 'harvest'.
