    Then the convention is over for this time. And for me this is the summit this year. As normal a lot of fish, and I got want I want :
    Rivulus xiphidious "CriqueBoulanger (all the way from japan)
    Diapteron georgiae "Essongville 95.

    Thanks for the links. You guys must have had a great time. I see most of the national associations in Europe having their shows during the middle and end of the year. I can only dream of attending any of those shows for now.

    I was looking at the results page and I see some Oryzias being classed with the lampeyes. Oddly though, Oryzias are no longer considered as killifish.

    I suppose you got your xiphidius from S. Miwa, am I right? They're not usually offered for sale and I must say you really got some dream fishes.

    They have not been for a long time. Their eggs have the vascularization of the silversides/rainbows, but in behaviour and appearance they belong right in there with Procatopus. As a result, many of us persist in considering them "honorary killies" even when we do know better.

    Personally, I find this less evil than trying to perpetuate the genus "Roloffia."
