    Hi Paul,

Nice to hear from you again. A fish house? Wow.. how I wish I could have one myself. Unfortunately space is a premium here in SG so we have to make do with racks and limited tank space.

Anyway, you got one really interesting species there - Epiplatys bifasciatus. Its a nice fish well worth the money and one that I would want to keep in the future. I was reading the Epiplatys book by Werner Neumann it states there that the populations of bifasciatus from Sudan have females which have a two-stage ovary.. and that was said to have been an indication that they practise internal fertilisation!! That would make these fish just as close to guppies.
    Fish.. Simply Irresistable
    Back to Killies... slowly.

    Stormhawk,

I am waiting for a copy of this book to be delivered at the moment, the idea the book has stated sounds fascinating. I now look forward to receiving the book and reading up on this theory, many thanks for pointing this out.

    Paul.
