Bioquip, a company which I buy most of my emtomological equipment, has a pipette similar to the one Kwek Leong showed in this old thread.

Refer to this New Product page. The product part number is 4776 costs US$5.25

The baster shown in the picture looks almost exactly like the one I'm using now. I got mine from Ronnie who bought if from Aquabid, I think. The rubber ball does not envelope the glass like the way most basters are made. If you noticed, it's inserted inside the glass which gives very powerful suction to the baster.

I wouldn't mind buying another 1 or 2 if somebody is rounding up orders. As far as I know, this baster is very hard to find.

Besides the baster, i found 2871A Insect-a-Slip quite interesting also. Imagine a free treat of ants as tid-bit for my fry.

Yup, the website Gan mentioned has lots of cool stuff. They also have a mosquito attractant, if you are thinking of catching dengue fever

Poh San, thats why Gan said that's the company where he buys most of his entomological supplies. That means the company deals more in stuff meant for studying insects.

My butterfly friends and I have bought lots of things from them - collapsable net, setting board, insect pins, petri dish, plastic vials, butterfly breeding cage etc. We usually have it ship to Singapore if it is 'urgent' or order it just before I visit US for business trip.

They have lots of interesting stuff. Check out their catalog and I am sure you will find something of interest to you.

Take note of what you want. If it is not urgent, I will offer to hand carry it back for you guys (as long as it is no too bulky) during my next trip to US sometime end of the year.

Poh San, I can get these from a 'scientific apparatus' distributor at my factory building but I'm looking out for a decent compound stereo microscope (which will have to wait till I have deeper pockets). Thanks for reminding me about petri dishes. Was suppose to check out some items for fellow forumers here.... sheesh, getting too forgetful now

If they are not too bulky and can fit into my check-in laggage.

I will be staying at Embassy Suite hotel in San Rafael, about 45 mins north of SFO airport.
