I got this very old piece of equipment from an LFS that was closing down. It had been in the store's inventory for at least 20 years I think. I remember seeing this as a young kid in an old copy of TFH at the local library.

Surprisingly, the shopkeeper gave me this item for free when I cleared out some items that were on clearance sales. Gee.. it must be just as old as I am. I was looking for one like this, other than the Python and am glad that I finally own one.

The whole deal, plus the odds and ends.

A faucet adapter, came in the box.

Has anyone used this item before? I think I gotta find a proper adapter for it to fit my tap faucet.

Wow, that takes me back aways to Portland Oregon, 1980. They are
actually pretty well built: the nozzle on the return shoots out a very fine
spray (almost like a mist) to dissipate the chlorine. Didn't use any dechlorinator in Portland, the water was soft and 6.8, right out of the tap.
Once you get an adaptor at a plumbing supply house, I think you'll like
this water changer! I don't know if they still make these, would like to
    see about one myself.

Yes, but it's in deep storage since I use something else for my water changes. The adapter couldn't fit on my taps either since mine don't have threads for it to screw on nicely. Old style flat means this doesn't work very well. The fine "mist" thing does work however. It's actually a fine jet of water.

Actually this was the first product that I saw before the Aqueon Water Changer. I'm currently having trouble with my diy one. After several tests in the toilet , when it's time to do water change , it didn't work.

I couldn't get the siphon to start , no idea why. It followed what I did when testing it carefully but it was to no avail. If you decide to let go of this product , think of me
