Got one pair of these from Fred Behrmann (Athens Aquatics, Catskills NY)
recently and they are supposed to be well-suited to a permanent planted
setup. Here's an updated pic of the male:

If anyone has kept Scriptos, I'd like to hear your successes, failures, etc.

    Thanks!

I have kept several species of them, and found them fairly easy to keep and breed. Pretty fish. The only reason I don't have any now is that I have BTDTBTWW.*

I think a T-shirt will be just fine for me

It takes quite abit to impress Wright. The above updated pic got just a few
murmurs from him to the effect that I need to send my fish to obedience
school so they can pose like his pups!

But to give credit its due, the technique used in the pic is all his idea, and
is the best pic I've taken of a fish (so far). No, Benny, Gan, Mr. Tree, etc,
don't have anything to worry about I just enjoy this hobby almost as much as killikeeping!

    Great photo Bill!

So does that mean they aren't too inclined to eat their eggs/offspring?

    Joseph,
According to Fred Behrmann they don't, which makes them ideal for my
    busy lifestyle right now.

BTW, lucky Wright is at the AKA convention right now

Still no babies with these, maybe it's too hot for them (house stays in the
80's when I'm at work). Finally got a pic of the female:

Hoping everyone is enjoying their summer!
