Ludwigia arcuata melting away

My tank is newly setup (2 weeks old) and I've Rotala,Glosso,blyxa Japonica and Ludwigia arcuata. All the other plants are gorwing fine except for Ludwigia. These have started melting away.

My tank setup: 3*1.5*1.5, 4*39 T5, CO2 aprrox 3 bps and the 10hr lighting.
Fertilizer: ADA BrigthyK, Ferka Aquatilizer, Seachem excel and Iron.

Please help me in saving these plants.

Will it be better if the lighting is cut down to 7 or 8 hours? Is your tank exposed to sunlight too? Else i don't think it'll be needing that much light. Also moving your Ludwigia away from direct shining by the UV light will help. Too near to the "sun".

Thanks oldman8. All my ludwigia melted away may be when I try this plant again I'll keep this in mind.

So far I've encountered 8 common types of situation where plant melts.
Tap water-chlorine
Emersed form failing to convert.
Submersed form too fragile.
Heat
Kept in pH/gH that it doesn't like.
Lack of light.
Plants were kept too long out of water.[stored in fridge or while in transit]
Treated with salt! [trying to kill snails-duh]

I guess its a combination of certain things you've mentioned Standoyo. My pH is very low (thanks to ADA magic) and also I believe these plants are cultivated emersed and not able to cope with the new environment.

You are missing some nutrients or poor CO2. Focus on what grows plants and you should not have much issues.

your remaining plants are growing fine, my experience with ludwigia arcuata is that most of the time its in emersed form. It melts readily and its pretty ugly to look at. As long as the root system is fine,be patient give it about a month. New leaves will form. i assure you it will be worth it. Sometimes they are a bit slow and tedious to acclimatise to its surroundings. Hope it helps you.
