CK,
My guess would be that your species is A. Splendopleure, possibly the variant 'Tiko Green' (I had a pair of them, and yours looks very similar to mine). That is almost certainly the male, due to the color of the fins.

Hi and welcome to the forum. If you're the CK I knew way back, then it has taken you long enough to get here.
The killie male is Aphyosemion (Chromaphyosemion) splendopluere and if you've gotten it from LFS that I consign stock to, I might be able to confirm the population. That said, color/pattern variation occurs naturally and I usually refrain linking locality/population from pictures alone.
Read from other forum that the male is a nice crispie now but if you can attend the KillieChat, I'll see what can be done.

Hi Ronnie,
I have always been lurking in the murks. Yes, I think the fish was from you.
ck
I have Tiko Green and this fish looks nothing like mine. Something is amiss. How about this to help: http://www.killifish.f9.co.uk/Killif...endopleure.htm

The orangey hue is very subtle, as in earlier photos, until near full maturity and adult specimens are very attractive (or gaudy, depending on how one looks at it) Although I won't rule out natural color variants but for now, the lineage is uncorrupted as of day one in SG.
BTW, the Tiko is still the only Chrom population that's throwing out good eggs and fry despite me not wishing to spawn them.
Let's hope CK is able to keep a photo-record of their growth and color development (before it becomes a crispie!)
