Hi Folks, it has been quite sometime since i last posted the picture of my 4ft. Time flies and it has been a year since i took picture of the tank for the ADA2006 submission. My 4ft has become a jungle!

I hope i still have the drive to reinvent it.

    Now:-

Glad that critters are still in full strength

Start trimming for success! you have 1 month+ to get it super duper!

+ The flame moss gives an added interest.
    - The depth is a bit lost and crowded.

Some of the plants like the little narrow leaf jf in the middle needs more time to mature.

Thanks Jus, Stan, Barmby for the encouraging comment.

Yes, Jus it is still around. The tank has 70% moss/java in it and I merely trim the background fast growing plants every 2 weeks. For moss, i just "push" them down if it is getting too thick. Thereafter, WC and 30 mins every weekend and it is done.

The schedule is like low-maintenance tank but in fact it is a high Fert & light setting.. My tank is neither here nor there. Haha. I guess i am like folks here after 4-5 years into this hobby- slowly going into the "dark side". Ok, low maintenance hardly WC and trimming and i will aim at that one day.

Points taken Stan, java is abit difficult to maintain after they are overgrown. Again I push them down because trimming will make them ugly. I kind of like the middle java, got a small bunch from Hii.. it is needle leave!

Nice, I like bushy mosses, great place for all the shrimps to hide and breeds. Thanks for sharing.

Ha! I'm used to calling it narrow leave JF.

I advise you to get a surface skimmer to skim the surface for nicer cleaner shot.

I agree. The surface is a mess.
