Thank you Bill. The tank is 42 ins in length, 18 ins in height, and 6.5 ins in width. So about 20 gallons but i have a 15 gallon sump connected to this tank. It is as wide as the thickness of the wall. One side is flushed to the wall but the other side is protruding a bit as I need to have an opening to do maintainance to the tank. The top border can be flipped open. I have also picked the same colour for the border as the wall to make it look inconspicuous.

    Nice tank, Teresa.

So is the tank in your living room? And what's the room on the other side of the wall?

Are you using CO2 for the tank? I ask because there are many stem plants in your tank. The thing is if you're not using CO2, chances are these stem plants won't last very long.

Is that just a single piece of driftwood? Why isn't there any mosses tied to it? Don't tell me you don't have any? Mosses, I mean. It would be such a shame, you know. How can anyone who's a member of the forum here at killies.com not grow mosses in his or her tank? Tell you what, write me a private message and I'll see what I can do to remedy the situation

But seriously, I would say it's a very good effort considering that it's your first attempt at a planted tank. It's your first, isn't it?

Moss and Pic of my half completed Castle tank

    Hi Andrew,
I agree with you. I do need more moss, trying to get some. I am going to get a 52 gallon planted tank soon. My husband is building the tank for me , not ready yet but it is in the form of a Castle. Looks pretty neat.
